We give you the Peppercorn experience. From the moment you enter the door you are welcome - we offer the flavours of the Middle-East, North-Africa and of the Mediterranean in dishes made with our daily deliveries of fruit and veg. For the sweet of tooth we have towers of giant rosewater meringues, homemade cakes & puddings and freshly brewed coffee all to be enjoyed by our cosy woodburner on those Cornish weather days, or in our terraced garden overlooking the gorgeous Cornish coastline in summer.
Peppercorn Kitchen Cook School
We don’t claim to be chefs but we are cooks with a passion. We have learned a lot over the years; most of the time by making enormous mistakes, often in public. We would like to share our successes with you, and regale you with tales of our failures. Learn how to bring together the flavours of Persia in our most popular fritter and also how to prepare a light and fluffy flatbread in no time at all (without yeast!).
3 Hoummous 10am-12.30pm Friday 23rd October 2015 In this session, you will learn how to make our traditional hoummous and how we make our own spicier roasted vegetable versions.

We will demonstrate how to preserve lemons and how to make orange & vanilla chutney – lovely citrus gifts for foodie friends and family.

This time we will be making spiced apple chutney and showing you a simple but delicious way to pickle vegetables.

We don’t claim to be experts but we would love to show you how we dry-cure our salmon at Peppercorn Kitchen. We’ll also talk you through how we create our spiced salt beef.
7 Spices, spice blends and how to create your own 10am-12.30pm Friday 4th December 2015
We have spent a long time playing around with different flavour combinations in our dishes, and we would love to share some of our discoveries with you. You will learn how to combine base notes with top notes and how to recognise different levels of aroma and flavour.
8 All Things Meringue: big ones, small ones, pavlovas, piping work and gifts!

Today you will learn how we make our special rosewater meringues at Peppercorn Kitchen, and we’ll share stories of some of our more entertaining disasters!
We are open on Saturdays and Sunday's from 10-00 am until 3-00 pm. The last orders for hot food are at 2-30pm. Our Cook School will be running for the Autumn on Fridays from 10am.
