We give you the Peppercorn experience. From the moment you enter the door you are welcome - we offer the flavours of the Middle-East, North-Africa and of the Mediterranean in dishes made with our daily deliveries of fruit and veg. For the sweet of tooth we have towers of giant rosewater meringues, homemade cakes & puddings and freshly brewed coffee all to be enjoyed by our cosy woodburner on those Cornish weather days, or in our terraced garden overlooking the gorgeous Cornish coastline in summer.
Over January 2015 we are running Peppercorn Kitchen Cook School Sessions. In order to do this, we will be closing Peppercorn Kitchen Café, Monday – Thursday (inc), and will be open as usual on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 10am – 3pm (last food order 2.30pm).

Peppercorn Kitchen Cook School
£15.00 per head 9.30am – 11.00am A demonstration, talk with coffee and questions and a take away for 2 of the dish of the day
£50.00 per head 9.30am – 1.30pm A demonstration, talk with coffee and questions; followed by a chance to make the dish of the day yourself. We will be there to answer questions and offer guidance where required. You will have notes of the day to take home, lunch and a take away for 4 of the dish of the day.
Course Dates and Themes
Wednesday 7th January Making Dal from scratch.
We will take you through the making of the spice blend Panchphoran, show you how to make the dish, and then you will make your own dal to take home so please bring a suitable container.
Thursday 8th January How to make the most of an egg!
We’re combining meringues and lemon curd today, No need to ask why, just know that you’ll be taking both home and learning how to make Chantilly cream!
Wednesday 21st January Hoummous and Flatbreads
Thursday 22nd January A complete Persian Lamb dish
We will be preparing: • Bohorat spice blend • Pickled vegetables • Persian lamb fritters • Cacik (a delicious yoghourt based accompaniment to the dish)

• Rosa and vanilla cream filled choux buns with white chocolate ganache • Coca-Cola chocolate sponge with chocolate ganache • Chilli chocolate pots

Creative leftovers This is challenge for us – you bring in what’s left in your fridge/cupboard at the end of the week and we’ll show you how to make it into a delicious and nutritious meal for the family!
